As a registered Industrial Psychologist with more than 20 years’ experience in human resource management, organisational development, and organisational effectiveness Dr. Benade brings a wealth of expertise in shaping workplaces that drive both business performance and organisational sustainability.
Dr. Benade worked in various roles in the financial services industry and has been entrusted with leading large-scale, group-wide initiatives designed to enhance employee engagement, increase business performance, and future-proof the workforce.
In 2018, she obtained her PhD in Industrial Psychology at North-West University in South Africa. Her doctoral research, “Investigating the experiences and consequences of employee well-being within the South African financial services industry”, deepened her expertise in workplace wellbeing and its impact on performance.
This research shaped her conviction that well-being is not only an ethical imperative but also a cornerstone of organisational performance and sustainability.
Beyond academia, Dr. Benade has contributed to the global dialogue on workplace experience through published research and international conference presentations. These opportunities allowed her to blend scholarly insights with practical solutions, positioning her at the intersection of evidence-based practice and real-world organisational challenges.
As an author and thought leader, she has contributed to publications exploring flourishing workplaces, burnout, engagement, and employee wellbeing. Dr. Benade also represented her expertise at international conferences, including HRtechX London (2022), where she spoke on the role of organisational psychology in HR transformation. These platforms reflect her commitment to advancing the field and sharing knowledge that helps organisations thrive in complex, fast-changing environments.
